This is our review of the most popular cages for the Sony FX3 / FX30, they both have the same body and utilise the same cages. The video also demonstrates a few more minimal alternatives to the fuller featured cages. Cages help build out smaller form factor cameras like Mirrorless & DSLR’s enabling users to mount additional accessories including Handles, Larger Display Monitors, Audio tools, Lights etc, all features which allow the individual to tailor their camera to suit their particular purpose. We bought all the cages we knew had received good reviews to see if there were many differences between them. We were curious as to what was hype or what was subjective perspective when people only purchased one brand of cage. We learnt some valuable lessons.
