The PARALLELS Between Luz & Belos Are CRAZY || The Owl House Video Essay

The parallels between Luz and Belos are CRAZY! Don't believe me? Well, watch this video! The Owl House is a really special show, mostly because it knows its characters well and draws intentional parallels between Luz, our protagonist, and the show's main villain, Emperor Belos, also known as Philip Wittebane. It portrays them as character foils and gives us a chance to see the similarities and differences between the two and how those affected the plot. In this video essay, I take a look at both characters and talk about their parallels, try to determine what makes them similar and how both of them made choices that defined their character arcs and the conflict in the show. This video is a collaboration with M. Jenny D., a fellow content creator who gave me the idea for this video and was responsible for most of the script! Go check out her channel, it's gonna focus on storytelling with lots of references to filmmaking and method acting, so if it's something you are into, you should definitely subscribe to her channel!    / @mjennyd_yt   How Luz Fits The Hurting Hero Trope    • How Luz Fits The Hurting Hero Trope.....   How THE OWL HOUSE Wrote A Perfect Villain    • How THE OWL HOUSE Wrote A Perfect Vil...   Don't forget to like & subscribe!https://www.youtube.com/@golden-prism...
