As I continue to test a lot of ultralight fishing equipment, I decided it would be a good idea to mix in some JDM gear. Several of you have suggested various rods, reels, and line from the Japanese market, and I can understand why, because this gear is high-end and it fits the needs of ultralight fishing very well. This was a polyester fishing line, which is a bit new to me, but it allowed me to use a super low diameter which helped with casting and maintaining a good action. Overall, I was highly impressed with this 1.75lb test line. It is definitely not for everyone, ass it can be a bit challenging to manage because it is so thin, but for people that are comfortable dealing with that, I definitely recommend this line type.
