Living in Italy is a dream come true. Calabria, southern Italy, in the town of Scalea, we have purchased a villa, that we are currently in the process of renovating. The dream of moving to Italy, and renovating a villa is practically universal. But, the reality of it, while still good, does have some stressful moments, for sure. In this villa renovation episode, we show you the progress of both bathrooms in our villa, and then we take you with us, through our beautiful Scalea, where we have lunch at Tari, one of our favorite restaurants. We are Michael and Justin. We are American expats, living now, full time, in beautiful Italy, in the region of Calabria, in wonderful Scalea. Michael is physically disabled, with mobility issues. And, we like to show in our videos, that anyone can dare to dream of life in Italy, regardless of mobility issues. Calabria is in Southern Italy, and is the place that we now happily call home.
