The Daily Mail’s U.S. Associate Editor Charlie Lankston is breaking down the reasons behind the deepening divide. “We’ve seen a man whose father and wife are both suffering through cancer at the same time and yet William has not let it stop him. He’s missed one event during the entire time,” Charlie told Access Hollywood. “A lot of people are looking at him and just thinking, wow, how is this guy doing it.” In sharp contrast to Prince William, Prince Harry’s popularity has been on the decline. “I think that people over time even here in the U.S. have grown tired of the constant attacks on the royal family. I think there is also a bit of a perception that they are kind of trying to turn themselves into celebrities,” she added.
