How often do e9x M3 Bearings need replaced? It's recommended to replace the rod bearings every 60k miles for normal daily drivers. If you're heavy footed and like to use you're M3 as it was designed then I'd recommend to replace the rod bearings every 40k miles. This is my personal recommendation as we've seen these bearings with major wear at 40k miles from those who well.... do "spirited driving" *The m3 v8 engine is the s65 and the m5 v10 engine is the s85, both are recommended to change rod bearings as stated above.
