HP Pavilion dv7 Broken Hinge Mount Repair and Motherboard Reflow - Jody Bruchon

I shot a repair video for the hinge mounts on an HP Pavilion g7 a while back, and now I'm repairing one of its close relatives. The HP Pavilion dv7 is a fancier version of the g7, but repairing the hinge mounts is the same basic procedure. I repaired the mounts on this one before, but the repair didn't hold up. Sometimes you have to epoxy the mounts a second time to build them back up, so this wasn't really a surprise. The epoxy I use for these repairs is Loctite Plastic epoxy which uses a purple and blue color scheme on the packaging and should cost you about $5 for a tube.
