I'm going to take you through various options depending on the clinical situation. In that clean or clean contaminated case without significant delay and no tension you ,may consider primary closure. Here you may use staples, sutures, steristrips or derma bond...we're going to talk about it. In that exlap for a perforated viscus with fecalent or purulent contamination you may consider delayed primary closure to decrease your risk of surgical site infection.
