Filmed on Monday 24th December 2018 After many equipment issues on previous vlogs and even a couple of vlogs completely ruined because of kit failures, I decided to get some new bits and pieces that would provide better quality videos and simplify the whole process. Therefore it's been quite a while since my last video but I needed to get things right. And I also wanted the weather to be good on the first outing with this new gear. Christmas Eve was the day I chose. It was forecast glorious sunshine all day and for once the forecasters got it right; it was perfect. Finn and I spent the day around the Langdale Pikes. I selected a route that would take in Raven Crag, Loft Crag, Pike o' Stickle, Thunacar Knott, Harrison Stickle, Pavey Ark and Pike Howe.
