We are the Newbys, a family of 3 living full time in our self converted campervan, currently travelling across Europe. It's been a busy week, where we leave Croatia and head deep into Slovenia before crossing into Hungary. Stick around to the end for some unexpected twists in the Newbys story. We visit caves with huge caverns, stalagmites and stalactites. We visit two Guinness world record holders, a castle and a grape vine, before heading to one of Johns favourite cities Budapest, where there are old Soviet statues and amazing buildings to see. We are the Newbys, John, Tara, and our two little boys Crusoe and Sawyer. We’re a family who are pursuing an alternative lifestyle, and after two years of full time travel we’ve taken root on an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal which we’re renovating into our dream off-grid homestead.
