It was released on the U.K. release of A Hard Day's Night (1964) George Harrison played his 1963 Gretsch Country Gentleman into a Vox AC-50 amp. He does not play much at all during the intro or choruses, because he was singing backup vocals with John and Paul I'm using a real 1967 Gretsch Country Gentleman into a Vox AC-30C2x. I added some short room reverb in Pro Tools (Abbey Road Chambers plug-in) to mimick the roomy echo heard on the original record John used his Rickenbacker 325 into a Vox AC-50 amp.
