Ascent of Broad Stand, Scafell. Last time I filmed this was with a point and click on a selfie stick, so wanted to head up with my GoPro to get a POV account of the climb/scramble. I'm a bit worn out as had started hours earlier in dungeonghyll, ascending pavey ark via a 3S and doing a Diff twice (once without backpack, again with), then progressed harrison stickle, pike o stickle, stake pass, esk hause, great end, scafell pike to end up here. also, because I had them for an earlier chimney climb (D), I wore climbing shoes for this, stashing my backpack and approach shoes at the base of the buttress. I realised I wasn't 100% about descending broad stand to fine tune my direction back to the specific blocks which allow for the unprotected downclimb, so descended lords rake to return to mickledoor. 100% would not recommend lords rake in climbing shoes :D
