Episode 375 : Season 12 : Sailing Australia Hello Friends, On this episode we depart Port Stephens in storms to continue our push North to Queensland. The passages from New South Wales to Queensland were some of the most brutal I have experienced, and not because of weather or big seas, but because of the East Australian Current that runs down the coast from Brisbane, making progress very slow and grueling. We averaged 3.5 knots in 24 Horus on some of the legs of this passage, with full motor on and sails up. Clawing our way up the coast was agonizing. This video is just a collection of the "highlights" as I dont film day after day of motoring up the coast, because it's simply not that interesting.
