Here's a little story. In the early 2000's I met my cousin, Riku. Riku is Korean and he "introduced" me into the world of K-pop. He had this very music video linked to his Xanga page. The song sounded so amazing to my ears, but at the same time I could not accept liking it because it was... Korean and they dressed weird. To make a long segment of this story shorter, I learned that it is perfectly OK to embrace things about other cultures and you do not always have to strictly follow what you "are." 2007 was one of the worst years of my life, and I was able to get through it with the help of H.O.T. I know, I know, that sounds extremely cheesy. But because I gave up my bigoted ways of thinking, I was able to really become a fan of H.O.T. and it really benefited me! I have listened to a lot of music from the United States and in the English language, but no one group of artists has produced so many great songs like H.O.T. has. H.O.T. was unique to me because they wrote a lot of their own songs, did not stick to one "style" (they did rock, hip hop, etc.), were able to do their own choreography, which is amazing, and most of all they performed very well live. You could always tell how serious these guys are about music, and how professional they are. Today's generation of pop artists are a bunch of immature knuckleheads who just don't have "it." H.O.T. had "it" and they will never be replaced. --------------- The Korean version of the Outside Castle album does not come with the bonus VCD for the music videos of "Outside Castle" and "A Song for a Lady." This video was extracted from the VCD that comes with the Chinese edition of the album, and re-encoded to 720p by me. Outside Castle is a very rare album, no matter what edition you get, so providing shopping links is pretty much useless. ---------------
