Galway Ireland Walking Tour - Unforgettable Charming Pubs and Great Food!

Join us on a walking tour of Galway, Ireland! It's day 5 of our 10 day cruise around Ireland out of Southampton, UK aboard the Norwegian Star. We tender into the Galway Docks and walk to the city center to experience all The Latin Quarter has to offer. We pass by Forthill Graveyard, stop by Saint Augustine's Catholic Church, visit the Galway Girl Statue on Quay Street, and shop the Aran Sweater Market. For lunch, we visit The Quays Bar and Restaurant for some outstanding Irish food and drinks. After lunch, we walk along the River Corrib to see Spanish Arch, Spanish Parade, and The Long Walk. We stop by Hall of the Red Earl to learn some history of 13th Century Galway, walk to Eyre Square and visit the John F. Kennedy Monument, then stop by Lynch's Castle and the Oscar Wilde Statue. Later, we enjoy a mini pub crawl beginning with Monroe's Tavern, and enjoy some authentic jazz music and dancing, then make a quick stop at The Dail Bar on our way back to the ship. But before we can make it back to the Docks, we encounter a charming slate artist and his two adorable border collies. Back onboard, we dine at O'Sheehan's Pub, then relax to more jazz music from The Show Band and The Broadway Cabaret show in The Bliss Lounge. #norwegiancruiselines #nclstar #cruisenorwegian #galwayireland #galwaygirl #monroestavern #ireland #irelandtravel #irelandtourism #johnkennedy #eyresquare #halloftheredearl #aransweatermarket #forthillgraveyard #celtic #busker #medievalhistory #dailbar #jazzmusic #galwaybay #galway
