With the recent nerfing of Pokey Thornmantle and the introduction of buddies, Quilboar became the weakest tribe in the game. It didn't have the tools to fight Ghoul-acabara, Fleet Admiral Tethys or Greymane's Champion. Blizzard trying to fix it added Gem Smuggler back to the game. An incredibly powerful unit that plays blood gems on all our units. Combined with Young Murk-Eye, Drakkari Enchanter, Brann Bronzebeard and Moon-Bacon Jazzer, it makes for an end of the turn composition that is one of the best in the entire game.
