But the web of time can’t be pulled apart without a cost… In an interview with RadioTimes.com, star Georgia Tennant said: “It took a while for me to want to give that character further life. I think mainly because I felt like it was kind of a perfectly formed character... she disappeared off into the universe and that felt like a lovely full stop – with a little question mark after it. And that was nice. “So I felt like if I brought her back, I wanted it to be the right thing to have done. I didn’t want people to be like, ‘Oh, here she is again!’ – so it took me a long time and it was quite a creative process with Big Finish to figure out how that would work. So it took a couple of years actually.” Script editor Matt Fitton explained further: “This range has a different tone from a lot of the things Big Finish produces – it’s almost overtly comedic. Georgia, who is also associate producer, wanted these releases to be enjoyed by everyone. So you don’t need to be steeped in Doctor Who lore to understand it. A key note for the range was to make it fun.” And producer Emma Haigh added: “It’s great to have Jenny and Noah back and I’ve loved getting to know them, their world and their adventures. This box set takes us on a great roller-coaster of a ride where we learn a little more about our heroes’ histories and those of their enemies.
