Il nome Jiankou, punta di freccia, potrebbe rendere l'idea di quello che ci si aspetta da questa sezione "originale" della Grande muraglia Cinese . Già perchè a punta di freccia sono le montagne che il muro attraversa in questa zona . Questo quindi rende non solo affascinante, ma anche difficoltoso il percorso a cui si va incontro . Se poi ci mettiamo il fatto che questa parte della Muraglia Cinese è lunga 20 km e risalente al 1400 circa non è stata mai restaurata e che oltre ai dislivelli sono presenti ripide scarpate...beh non c'è da meravigliarsi se viene definita la " sezione più pericolosa " . Arrivarci è stato abbastanza complicato, ma ho seguito alla lettera le indicazioni della mia amica Ding Ding, che oltre ad spiegarmi il tutto, ha anche provveduto a lasciarmi degli appunti in cinese da mostrare in caso di bisogno oltre che a prenotare una guest house per me e la mia supermamma che viaggiava con me . Su internet trovate svariate indicazioni, io ancora oggi non sono sicuro dove esattamente , fra i 20 km di lunghezza di Jiankou Wall sono finito . Quel che è certo è che il villaggio era desolato, la guest house era chiusa ed è stata aperta solo per noi, non c'era un ristorante o un supermercato quindi ci toccava mangiare quello che il proprietario avrebbe potuto cucinare solo e soltanto per noi . Questi gli appunti che Ding Ding mi ha lasciato : "Questa sezione della grande muraglia cinese si trova a Huairou town. Da Pechino bisogna raggiungere la stazione della metropolitana Dongzhimen, fuori dall'ingresso a poche decine di metri, c'è la stazione degli autobus dove si può prendere l'espresso 916 per Huairou . Alla stazione di Huairou prendere il Bus H25 per Xizhazi village da dove si può cominciare l'escursione . Essendo un villaggio molto remoto bisogna tenere a mente che il bus H25 è solo una volta al giorno alle 16.30 altrimenti poi bisogna prendere un taxi . Al villaggio Xizhazi le guest house sono circa 50 yuan ( circa 6 euro ) a persona al giorno . Questa parte è molto pericolosa e sarebbe meglio affrontarla con una guida esperta " Ed effettivamente era cosi, mentre supermamma mi aspettava in camera io mi sono avventurato verso una delle esperienze più belle mai fatte, la metto anche davanti all'everest base camp, per quanto solitaria, impervia, antica e affascinante l'ho trovata .
