If you have been watching this channel for any time at all you would know that i LOVE wood box sets. Maybe it's growing up poor or something, but whatever the reason I love wood box sets. In this video I unbox and share my first impressions of the Schmincke Wood Box Set of 48 watercolor half pans. Actually this Schmincke Horadam set has 47 colors plus a full pan of ox gall. The wood box set also includes a wonderful ceramic palette. Schmincke Horadam watercolor paints are extremely expensive here in America, so much so that this set from the Uk shop Jackson's is less than what the set of 36 would cost here in America. Overall I find this set to be a very good quality There are actual enough slots for 50 half pans. The wood las a lovely grain and is a light weight when empty. The half pans are stored in a removable metal holder, the ceramic palette sits on top. Two thin foam sheets separate the palette and the paints. This is a wonderful set that is well worth the small price difference between this and the metal tin of 48.
