Two layers of filter pad and 10 lbs of lava rock, simple media to keep it easy to clean out. Unfiltered we have to change out the pond water every 2 days or it gets too dirty, hoping to get 3-5 days between water changes with this. May need upgrade to finer media but we'll give this a test.
