When you travel with a carry-on only your liquids are limited to 1 liter in total and no bottles can be larger than 100 ml each. I like using flexible fabric pouches to pack my dry makeup because they can be easily folded and placed anywhere. I pack a pouch with miscellaneous items in my carry-on and skincare and makeup bags in my personal item for easy access.
