History of the Bebop Freestyle skateboard trick

The Bebop was invented by pro freestyle skater Hans "Hazze" Lindgren. For the record, the Bebop freestyle skateboard trick requires starting off the nose or tail in the hang ten position while rolling forward. Then the board is popped into a nollie with both feet, as the board goes between the legs, while grabbing the nose or tail with one hand, then twisting the board into landing position, while the body remains in a forward position the entire duration of the trick. The bebop skateboard trick has been given a few different names since it was invented by Hans "Hazze" Lindgren in 1988. Those different names started in a trick tip showing Hans demonstrating the Bebop in the November 1989 issue of Transworld Skateboarding magazine. In that trick tip, pro freestyle skateboarder Don Brown wrote the instructions and gave it the name Hazze Bean, which ended up being the incorrect name. From that point on through the next 30 years, many people who know the trick had given it different names, not fully aware of the real name of the trick. Some skaters have not been aware of it's origins and inventor either, until now. After watching this video presentation, researched, filmed and narrated by former pro freestyle skater John Trimble, you will never see or call any other variation of Hans Lindgren's trick, the Bebop or any name related to Hazze again. It's out of courtesy to only call Hans Lindgren's variation the Bebop.
