Punch-Out!! (Wii) Playthrough Part 8

In this part, we do the Challenges for the Contender Mode versions of Aran Ryan, Soda Popinski, Bald Bull, Super Macho Man, and Mr. Sandman. Aran Ryan's Challenges are very straightforward, but tricky if you're going for all three in one run. Remember that you can counter literally every move that Aran has. Getting Stars off him for 7 Star Punches is REALLY easy. Soda Popinski's Challenges are.. annoying, to say the very least. Trying to go a full round without losing a heart is a nightmare. Try to not hurt him at all and keep him in his first phase (don't knock him down). His pattern goes: Left hook Left hook Pause Right uppercut Pause Right uppercut Pause Left hook Left hook Pause Right uppercut Right uppercut Left uppercut (this one comes out faster than the right uppercuts do) Repeat His other Challenges are easy with how many Stars you can get, ESPECIALLY from knocking his soda out of his hand. Bald Bull's easy when you get the hang of him. You can get all his Challenges done in one go. His Stars are definitely the toughest part, though. His pumped uppercut requires you to hook him at JUST the right moment for a Star. Countering his Bull Charge with a Star is really easy. Just release it as soon as steam finishes coming out of his nose. Super Macho Man's Challenges are a joke if you know how to get his Stars. Not much to say otherwise. Mr. Sandman's Challenges are tricky, but nothing too bad. The hardest one is definitely to beat him without dodging, ducking, or blocking. You want to try to get as many Stars from his attacks as possible. Try not to let him use a Dreamland Express at any time if you don't want to be knocked down. Or just take it, considering the fact that you aren't dodging, blocking, or ducking.
