Chatbox #2 - re-learning to shoot video; YouTube comments and more!

This is the official vlog/podcast/whatever you want to call it channel of @ModernClassic, where I talk about both what's going on in my main channel as well as topics that don't really belong there. I'll generally be keeping it tech focused, but may go off on tangents here and there - you've been warned! If you haven't watched my main channel, I recommend checking that out first. Topics in this video: My latest video, re-learning how to properly shoot video, and YouTube comments. I talk a lot here about how my own complacency had caused the visual quality of my videos to slip over time rather than improve, and just putting in a little extra time and effort to both learn a little more about my camera, get some better lights and position them properly, and just generally re-learning and then applying a lot of the concepts I at one point knew from film school but then either forgot or just got lazy about. Hopefully my videos have started looking better again, including this one. Here are some affiliate links if you'd like to help me out. I didn't buy a lot to fix up my video, but I bought a couple things if you're interested in making your own videos look better on the cheap: K&F Concepts Tripod: https://amzn.to/3VHe7w0 Calibrite Colorchecker Passport Video 2: https://amzn.to/4eJAY2y Key light: Mountdog Softbox Lighting Kit: https://amzn.to/45HPvaW Background lights (note that these are probably temporary for me): Govee RGB LED strip lights: https://amzn.to/3RQwNZ5 Govee RGB light bulbs: https://amzn.to/3xE2Q7M Fill/Back lights: If you're just starting out, you'll need a fill/back light as well (I use one light that I already had for both purposes, but two is better if you want more even lighting). Something like this: https://amzn.to/4ceTsXc I haven't bought a new camera (yet) but depending on what I decide its purpose is going to be, it'll be one of these: Sony Alpha ZV-E10 (only for video): https://amzn.to/3RKFOCW Sony Alpha 6700 (all-in-one camera): https://amzn.to/3RNwuy7 If you haven't seen my main channel and somehow stumbled in here first, please check it out!    / modernclassic
