Wise Mind is a fundamental DBT Mindfulness Skill. The key is being aware of your state of mind in any particular moment. Reasonable Mind and Emotion Mind can get in the way of having a Wise Mind. Both of these minds are discussed in detail. Examples of Reasonable Mind and Emotion Mind characteristics are shown. These types of minds can be unforgiving and impulsive. Wise Mind merges both of the above minds together. You can even feel it in a certain part of your body! There are ways to effectively work on this skill. Then you can access it and use it more often.
