The only thing the makes the Milwaukee usable is the ability to utilize ultra thin .032" cutoff disc. Using the common 3" discs(.070,.045, etc) cause it to stall with even a few ounces of downward force(cutting steel). However it rocks as a mini belt sander as the belt drive drum is so small, utilizing what little torque the tool has. I bought the DeWalt to replace the Milwaukee but I think I'll keep it around as a belt sander indefinitely.
