Hosting a small New Year Eve event? Here are some tips to get you started: 1) Raid your local dollar store - preferably the largest dollar store for more selection! Our paper plates, paper, crackers, balloons and confetti are from the dollar store. 2) Create a charcuterie board with cured meats, cheeses and crackers. If you don't own a board, use a wooden cutting board or a nice, flat plate! 3) Use clear or white serving vessels to keep your look clean. 4) Holiday popcorn like the Chocolate and Caramel ones we have in the middle are easy to find and delicious to eat! 5) I used an old two tier stand and had leftover chocolates from the holidays on the top and chopped up some fruit for the bottom - the brighter the better! 6) Slices of cake to celebrate the new year - we went with ice cream! 7) No NYE party is complete without cocktails - we made two - one with alcohol and one without.
