El río Ebro ha labrado estos cortados en sedimentos de yesos, durante millones de años. Ahora son un magnífico lugar para ver buitres y otras rapaces, justo al lado del caudaloso río Ebro, cerca de la localidad riojana de Alcanadre. La vía del tren pasa muy cerca de los cortados, por lo que nuestra ruta irá a veces paralela al tren, que está en activo. Un pequeño paraíso rural junto al Ebro muy poco visitado por lo que para mi su interés se multiplica. Podremos ver bastante fauna, a lo que ayuda la cercanía del Ebro.
