With 11 minutes left, Miami scored a crazy 35 yard touchdown to take a 28-20 lead over Florida State. Florida State responded with a long drive and kicked a field goal to make it 28-23 with just under five minutes remaining. Then, the Seminoles defense made a stand and got the ball back with two minutes left. FSU QB Jordan Travis completed a deep ball on the first play of the possession to put them in the red zone. Then, on fourth and 14, Travis completed another big pass to put FSU right at the Miami goal line with just one minute left.
