A beautiful watercolorist, exquisite draftsman, writer, photographer, long-time educator, and now AI artist, he is MOST known as North America's premier fine-art printmaker. Barry Moser has won numerous accolades for his work, including the prestigious National Book Award for Design and Illustration and the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award. His work is represented in collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, and the Library of Congress. Because of his association with great American printmakers of the previous generation, his own Pennyroyal Press carries on the craft of hand-printing and -binding limited edition art books, including the famous Pennyroyal Caxton Bible, which was said to be the preferred Bible of the previous Pope. Long ago, a Methodist minister, Moser, retained a belief in the power of words and their relationship to the visual arts.
