COLLECTORS FLOCK TO SHOW | ANTIQUE & VINTAGE SHOPPING | RESALE For two days each June, the fascinating town of New Harmony relives its utopic origins as a magnet for collectors, vintage hunters and resellers coming to the town’s annual antique show! I’m here as the guest appraiser at the event, and since I never buy items brought to me at appraisal fairs, I have to hit the streets (and the air-conditioned shops and gymnasium) to shop the dozens of dealers who come from several states to participate. There’s a lot of fun things to see! Come with me as we go through the town’s terrific offerings, and see what catches our eye (and my wallet) as I shop indoors and out during the few breaks I get from my appraisal work. From mid-century to 19th century, we see a lot of great antiques and vintage, find some real deals and share information about all that we see. So much fun to have antique shows again!
