Now since it's much colder, we keep the ceramics and heating pad on 24 hours a day. The day lights (UV, UVB, spot lamps) are still only kept on for about 7 hours a day. -The temperature was getting down below freezing and the inside of the house dipped too low, so we added an extra layer of carpet liner to the door. Instead of cutting 4 inch sections like before, we only have one split in the runner for them to come in and out. Adding this has constantly kept the temperature about 5-10 degrees warmer at all times! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF IN A COLD CLIMATE.
