And half of the world’s corals have already been lost. We must act now to protect people and nature. In December 2022, at the 15th United Nations Biodiversity Conference – COP15 – representatives from 196 nations came together to adopt a landmark agreement: the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It’s also known as the GBF and unites the world behind a clear mission to halt and reverse nature loss by 2030.
