Goran Klemenčič is well known as president of Commission for the Prevention of Corruption in Slovenia and cofounder of International Human Rights, Criminal Justice Law and Privacy Centre. He sees Human rights protection and transparency as foundation of a democratic state. He has published a series of professional and scientific articles at home and abroad and is co-author of twelve books, some of which were published in Washington, New York, Strasbourg and Paris. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
