I have adjusted the machine to skive/slice thin/fine furniture/automotive leathers, etc...I mean 0.5 mm gap between 'presser foot side' and 'bell knife edge' and the gap between 'feed roller and bell knife inside edge' less than 0.5 mm . For thicker leathers the edge of bell knife should go a little further away 2.5 mm at most from the presser foot side. You will see that is not so difficult as it seems or some masters want us to believe. I hope you find it useful! Cesar
