This is probably the best abandoned hospital i have ever filmed for my channel, the site closed in 2009 and the stuff that has been left in here will blow you away! We even found areas with power still on and even some of the machines still had a power supply to them! But that’s not all!…. We found scanning equipment, patient records, ☢️ material and even 💯 real human body organs!! Sit back and i hope you enjoy this weeks video 🙂 The Royal Hospital Haslar, formerly the Royal Naval Hospital Haslar was one of several hospitals serving the local area. It Is now being converted into retirement flats. The hospital itself is a Grade II listed building. Although no record of a formal opening of the Royal Hospital Haslar can be traced, it is believed to have opened on the 12th October 1753. Many famous men and women have served at Haslar, among them James Lind, the 'father of nautical medicine' who discovered a cure for scurvy.
