Lahar flows decimated communities near the mountain, but it formed a beautiful crater lake that is now enjoyed by so many. From Baguio I rode to the jump-off point in Capas, Tarlac - and then with my friends from Gears/ARB Philippines we drove up one of those lahar flows, the one that drains the crater lake.
