Today we review the budget-friendly AKG Drum Set Session 1 (yea it's a mouthful). We typically get to work with some prettttyy amazing gear including mics and preamps, and some of you have commented asking to do a few entry to mid-tier mics and gear. So first up is this drum bundle. Armed with the AKG P2, AKG P4 & AKG P17, how good is this budget drum mic kit? We will be testing this drum mic kit with the DW Design Series drum kit, Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbals, and recording it through the UAD Apollo x8p (with some unison goodness).
