I have been a collector of old films like this one since I was a kid. I used clips from many old films in my television series on the 1960s and in my feature documentary, Sputnik Mania, which presented what happened in America in 1958, the year after the Russians launched Sputnik. It is fascinating to hear what High school students who were from the early part of the 60s generation, early baby boomers, felt their future was going to be like.
