Here's a comparison of an all mahogany guitar with a spruce topped one. The Spruce is my 1962 Guild F20, and the hog is my 1961 M20; the same body shape and bracing, with the only difference being the top, and a slightly different bridge shape. Call it a yellow delicious apple to red delicious apple comparison. The F20 has had some bridge work done, to replace an overly big bridge that had been added at some point in its past. The M20 has had a maple strip added to a too soft spruce bridge plate. They both have bone nuts and saddles and are both using D'Addario custom light 80/20 strings. There is an edit about 45 sec in to work around a drop in the video file that was causing it not to render. The mic is the cameras built in mic. No affects or other editing.
