Welcome to another video of my life as a flight attendant as a South African Emirates Cabin Crew! This time, I’m on a whole month of reserve. I’ve done two flight already, one to Islamabad and one to Taipei, and now I’m starting this video on a home standby from 9pm until 3am. I could be pulled out anytime between 9pm and 3am. Reserve means that for the next 30days, I can’t make any plans because I don’t know if I have a day off or if I’m going to have a standby and possibly be pulled out for a flight. I can also have a standby and not be pulled for a flight and then have a normal day off. If you’re someone who dislikes routine and loves a constant change and unknown, then this is probably the best job for you! I also get to fly with one of the kindest people I know! @lilygoma from Egypt! We met during a flight to Lisbon and she was such a positive light on board as well as on the layover and I was so excited when I saw that I was going to fly with her again.
