I have a long term love affair with Alfa Romeo. My dad had Alfa Romeos when I was growing up, and I learned to drive in a GTV (I even took my test in it). There has always been something very special about the gorgeous Italian Design, and their willingness to put the driver experience above everything else. But in the late 90s and '00s, it seemed like Alfa lost their way a little, and took the easy way out instead of the fun way out on many of their cars.
