Ed Cherry Trio performs "Solid", by Sonny Rollins off his album "Moving Out". This time Ed had his amazing Trio of Eric Wheeler on Double Bass, and Anwar Marshall on drums.He also invited up some jazz friends to jam on this wonderful groovin' tune. Ed Cherry is a legendary jazz guitarist known for his work with Dizzy Gillespie from 1978 to 1992, and for his own recordings and projects as a band leader since that time. He is widely known as for his melodicism, exuding a deep expressiveness on the guitar attributed to great singers such as Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and Frank Sinatra. It was a fabulous performance the entire night with fantastic musicianship from all and a great vibe!
