Hi everyone! In this video I demonstrate, first, what I look for in selecting a place to paint. Secondly, the importance of the thumbnail sketch for efficiency, and then on the painting! This painting outing took me about 3 1/2 hours, so I did have to edit it to make this video, but I wanted to concentrate on the essentials for plein air painting, with the concentration on the water and river rocks.
