Near Delta Halo's Control Room, we fight for revenge against the Brutes in the eleventh campaign mission for Halo 2. Using the ring's teleportation grid, the Gravemind deploys the Arbiter near the cliffs overlooking Delta Halo's Control Room. With a better sense of his surroundings, Thel hears the sound of battle close to his point of origin. Witnessing one massacred Elite, he realized what was occurring within the Covenant, the beginning of a civil war between his kind and their once jealous rivals, the Brutes. With the Prophets' betrayal unfolding before him, the Arbiter finds several more of his deceased companions strewn across his path as Brute patrols scout the area for survivors. To reach the Control Room and potentially find the Index, Thel bands together with remaining resistance forces, mixed with Elites and fellow Grunts. The unit battles through the canyon, eliminating the Covenant Loyalist entrenchments impeding their progress before the rendezvous point.
