Mark Myers MOEBIUS JUPITER 2 Landing effects. Based on several landings throughout the series without the landing gear. Familiar to anyone who actually watched/watches the original series. The Jupiter 2 is seen in several episodes making a soft belly landing seen here, without the landing gear. The model features the following... Spinning scanner in upper bubble(Note:NO lights are in the upper bubble. The scanner reflected the inner lights and outside lights). Scribed hatch was filled in and sanded smooth per the filming miniature. "Practical Interior" No full interior was in the 4' hero prop. I recreated what they have here, with figures as they were seen in the episode "The Derelict". Removable "HERO" Landing gear. The landing gear that came with the kit represent the full size set seen in several episodes and are not correct to the 4' Filming model. Currently I am working on correct retractable landing gear. Mechanical fusion core...The lights in the engine consist of six lights, sixty degrees apart that spin via a motor(All of the commercial "light" kits are incorrect). The lights are tied into the upper bubble scanner and, via a potentiometer, spin at any rate I wish. The exterior paint has a fine texture to it, again, per the filming model.
