The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) demos new DisplayHDR certified display products at CES 2019. DisplayHDR is the display industry’s first fully open standard specifying high dynamic range (HDR) quality. In only one year since its introduction, all 10 of the top 10 display manufacturers have had display products certified under the standard. In this video, Roland Wooster, chairman of the VESA task group responsible for DisplayHDR, and the association’s representative from Intel Corporation for HDR display technology, highlights a few of the DisplayHDR certified products at the VESA booth at CES. Roland also provides an update on VESA's DisplayHDR True Black standard, announced at CES 2019, which is aimed at organic light emitting diode (OLED) and other emissive display technologies.
