Her Late Most Excellent Majesty's coffin - draped in the Royal Standard of Scotland and with flowers from the Balmoral estate - is carried by soldiers of The Royal Regiment of Scotland as she departs her northern kingdom for the last time. Among the soldiers is Ben Tubuna, from Rewa, Fiji, a distance of 9,788 miles away, on the other side of the world Following behind is the Late Sovereign's daughter, the Princess Royal, Anne, who will accompany The Queen on her final journey by air to London, on board a C-17 Globemaster of the Royal Air Force. The melody is "Flowers of the Forest", a famous lament for those who fell at the battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513. It is such a sacred melody that bagpipers will not practise it within hearing, and only play it on occasions such as this. The dignified commentator (at 2:43) is Alastair Bruce.
