Quad Cortex and Laney LFR-412 w/ EQ - iPhone

When comparing the QC capture and IR thru the Laney LFR412 to the real amp/ cab (ClubSecret23 and REVV 4x12), I felt there was an additional EQ "offset" needed to help adjust the sound in the room. It's far from perfect, but sounds more "natural" to my ears with the EQ (in the room)--and I'll keep on tweaking as I have more time--but for now, it's good enough. The 2nd/ last EQ adjustment in the vid (quickly turned off near the end) is the standard "cab in a room" eq-low/high pass cuts. Played in a live band situation last night, against a Road King/ 412 cab and the QC/ Laney held it's own! (I got the volume about half way up--but had to turn down a bit, as it was too loud and buried the drums!) In the video, it starts off with the EQ ON--and then turns off to what the capture and IR only sound like thru the cab. The QC capture is of my Club Secret 23 and this IR is from Ownhammer (Rect Essentials)! (This QC patch is set to have the EQ only to the output sent to the Laney cab for stage use--and the other out just straight capture/ ir for direct input useage.)
