Looking deeper into that, I think we can expect to see more AAA video game movie adaptations than every before in the coming years. Simultaneous to that, we are seeing loads of TV adaptations of these games! But, the most interesting part of all, is that indie game IPs are being bought up at the same time. As studios rush to develop as many new properties as possible, and appeal to as many demographics as they can, there is this new rise of indie game tv shows! It's an exciting time. The indie tv adaptations I'm aware of are, Costume Quest, Little Nightmares, Hyper Light Drifter, Cuphead, Knights and Bikes, Hello Neighbor, My Friend Pedro, and Disco Elysium Not to mention the MANY more based on larger IPs like The Last of Us, Resident Evil, Fallout, Diablo, Devil May Cry, and the LOADS on top of that that are instead destined for the big screen!
